"Investing for eternity one life at a time"

The 180 Student Ministries group at Shiloh Hills is an active community of likeminded middle school and high school believers who possess a desire to connect with others in a personal way as we seek to live out what it is to be a follower of Christ in the 21st Century.  We emphasize a personal relationship with God, which results in a growing compassion for others.  This compassion opens the door for God-given opportunities to build relationships and influence the lives of others.  Shiloh Hills Student Ministries exists to reach youth with the gospel of Christ through preaching and outreach, to worship God in our lives, and to encourage one another to live for Christ and grow in a personal relationship with Him.  We’d love for you to come and check us out and see how you can have your life count for eternity.

Excellence: Excellence brings honor to God and inspires people.

Ownership: Ownership of the ministry promotes a spirit of unity and generates involvement.

Relevance: The truth of God and His Word is to be seen as relevant in daily living.

Practice: Our life is to reflect God and who He is as we live out what we are discovering.

People: People are the priority: not our program, property or activities; as a result we take genuine interest in those with whom we come in contact.

Compassion: A Christ-like compassion compels us to reach the lost.

Maturity: Seeing young people grow in a personal relationship with God and allowing God to mature them as young men and women is our passion.

Our philosophy is centered around 5 key words: evangelism, discipleship, worship, ministry (service), and fellowship.

Preaching  (Evangelism)  1 Corinthians 1:21; Acts 1:8
We believe in preaching to teens right where they are in their walk with God.  The intent is to challenge each person to deepen his own relationship with Jesus Christ.

Outreach  (Ministry)  Jude 22; John 13:34-35
We desire that each young person look beyond themselves and allow Christ to give them a burden for others.  Our goal is to impact lives for the cause of Christ.

Worship  (Worship)  Psalm 96:9; Romans 12:1
Worship is a vital demonstration of our love toward God.  We encourage worship through song, prayer, testimonies, giving, serving, preaching—in reality—in all we do.

Encouragement  (Discipleship)  Ephesians 4:29; Hebrews 6:1
We encourage each teenager to build one another up.  In our world it is common to tear others down in order to make ourselves look good, but that goes against what God’s Word teaches.  We are to edify one another.

Relationships  (Fellowship)  Philippians 3:10; Proverbs 13:20; Ephesians 2:19
The first relationship that we desire young people to build is their relationship with God.  From the growth and development of this relationship comes the ability to make right decisions in many other areas of life.  We also want to provide a place for teens to build personal relationships with other teens.  We believe godly, Christ-honoring friends are necessary in our spiritual life.
